So I haven't wrote to much lately. Basically there's not much to write about. I guess that horrible National Championship game has got me all worked up still. But thats ok. I will be ok. Maybe not until next Fall, but I will be ok. There is some exciting stuff giong on in the NFL if anybody cares. Maybe next week I will be into the Super Bowl. Other than that I'm out.

Back At It

Back to the 9 to 5 grind. Or whatever it is you call that I do. I've got me a few movies to enjoy tonight; The Bone Collector, and The Italian Job. I haven't had the pleasure of viewing either of these movies. The Bone Collector so far has been great. I'm definitely looking forward to The Italian Job next.

So I spent the weekend getting over that horrible Tuesday, that will be forever known as "Black Tuesday." For those of you out there who are curious I spent some great quality time with the wife. We mostly worked on some of her school work. You know, the usual, lots of coloring and cutting out stuff. Good times.

Tonight was time spent well. Another one of my passions, besides Sooner Football/Football in General, I was able to enjoy this weekend is wrestling. That's right, you might know it as rasslin', but its just good old wrestling. I love the stuff and to tell you the truth, its real! I mean come on I know its planned out and all that crap. But the physicality 100% real. These guys night in and night out take their bodies to the limit. And tonight was New Years Revolution. Its the first pay-per view have gotten in a while and we were not disappointed. A great night, sure was.

State of the Sooner Address

Ladies, Gentlemen, Sooner Nation, it has been a long a glorious season. Although it did not end as we would have liked, it was a great one. We have many things to be proud of and to look forward to.

We must first bid farewell to one of the greatest Sooners to strap on the Crimson and Cream. Good luck and farewell Mr. White, it has been great. You brought the Sooner Nation a lot to be proud of; a Heisman Trophy, 2 undefeated regular seasons, 1 Big 12 Championship, 2 trips to the National Championship. All be it no National Title, but a lot to be proud of and thankful for.

We must also say good bye to one of the greatest senior classes will ever see. A lot them will get their name called on that fateful day in April when the NFL holds its draft. A soon to be force in the NFL and backbone to the Sooners, Dan Cody. The best Wide receiver in the Draft will be Mark Clayton. We can't leave out the Antoni Perkins, Jamal Brown, Vince Carter, Lance Mitchel and the list can go on forever with this stellar class.

The future looks bright for our Sooners. Do I have to mention the phenom Adrian Peterson. #28 hopefully will continue to "run all-day," and bring us home one of those Heismans. Fortunately we were able to Red Shirt Big Tall Paul Thompson. We've got Tommy Grady, and Rhett Bomar. Both blue chip QB's out of high school. And they are just chomping at the bit to write their own pages in Sooner history. The Defense under Bob Stoops will always be full of Blue Chippers.

Friends, Family, Sooner Nation no need to worry only 3 months till Spring Ball and 8 months till the season opener. My friends Sooner Magic will be restored. Until then all one must do is close your eyes and you can see all the Sooner greats; Billy Vessels, Steve Owens, Billy Sims, Greg Pruit, The Selmon Brothers, Joe Washington, Tony Casillas, Brian Bosworth, Keith Jackson, Bud Wilkinson, Barry Switzer, Roy Williams, Rocky Calmus, Josh Heupel, Teddy Lehmen, Tommy Harris, and Jason. All of them roaming Owens Field, in all of their Glory.

Horrible Night

Talk about a horrible night. It happened just the way I said it would, well, just the other way around. I'll give them their props, they came out and royal kicked ass. Plan and simple, no excuses. I just feel bad for Jason White, he will be known as the one who couldn't win the big one. Ohh well, there's always next year.

I'm gonna wallow in my misery and watch some movies.

Orange Bowl Baby Yeah!

So tonight is the night and we will see if my prediction will come true. Which it will. This game will not live up to its hype. "The Greatest Game Ever," whatever. When ever anything is hyped up this much, it never lives up to expectations. Its like that restaurant all your friends and family tell you is amazing and then you go and its not all that impressive. All be it good, just not 'the greatest ever.' As this game will not be all that great. Unless you're a Sooner fan. I honestly think, unfortunately, it will be just like the 2000 National Championship, slow and methodically, low scoring. With OU coming out on top.

I have spoke so much on this matter that it is getting a little old. I'm ready for all the talk to stop and the butt kicking to begin. So I am going to go home and hopefully when I wake up it will close to time for kick off and my house will be rocking.

Back To Work

So sad :( I'm back to work once again. Had a lovely 2 weeks off. Got to spend some great quality time with my wife. Especially since she is going out into the work force. Now she can start bringing home the bacon ;). All joking aside it is great to have some financially stability. That college degree just might payoff.

So did anyone catch the Capitol One Bowl, with Iowa beating LSU in the final moments. It was a great game, one of the best of the year. Be sure to check out the Nokia Sugar Bowl tomorrow night. I predict the Virginia Tech to upset Auburn. Virginia Tech has probably played one of the best last half of the season than anyone out there and they will continue there winning ways against Auburn.

This goes out to all you heathen Ok State fans out there. How about that coach of yours. Les Miles to LSU. How about them apples. I can honestly say I'm a very happy man about this. I feel Miles was a great coach and the fewer of them we got lining up across from us on Saturdays on a regular basis is a good thing. Good luck Coach Miles!

BCS! BCS! BCS! BCS!

You win some, you lose some, and the Loondaddy loves the BCS. I know I'm in the minority and thats ok. I'm used to it. But the bowl games have been great this year. If you haven't noticed, I have thoroughly enjoyed myself this bowl season. That is of course as long as OU will come out on top, like I know they will.

This being the first day of BCS games and all be it only one game has been completed. The day has been good. For all you Cal lovers and BCS haters, you have to be wallowing in your own self pity right now. With Cal getting handled by Texas Tech and Texas beating Michigan, your argument that Cal should have been in the Rose Bowl is all shout to hell. Texas truly was the better team. And all of you BCS haters that thought Texas got a free ride, ha. Not that I am a Texas fan, but them winning is good for the Big 12 and what's good for the Big 12 is good for OU. I still hate Texas will all the fibers of my being, but them winning proves how good OU really is!!!!!!!!!

I hope everyone had a great New Years Eve celebration. I know around here we did. Wish everyone a great and bright New Year! Ours around here has already stated off on a great note, with my wife becoming gainfully employed by McLoud Public Schools and we hope for many more great things this year.

3 Days and Counting till the "greatest game," as everyone who thinks they are somebody says. The only thing great about it will be OU winning!!!!!!!
